Deane's Comments (rates
this release 4.5/5.0)
The 26th June concert
drew heavily from the US One nite alone shows, albeit with some
changes here and there. The final concert of the 2002 Celebration event was a
fitting way to end a great series of shows - a magnificent performance, another
inspired mix of new material and back catalogue greats and a 20 minute jam to
close. The one minor blot is that 'Manic Monday' was not sung by Prince, a
member of the audience taking vocal duties instead. 'Soul sanctuary' more than
makes up for it though.
