Deane's Comments (rates this release 3.5/5.0)
Okay, normally I am not a big advocate of releases like these, but this one isn't that bad a sampler. It has at least one track from every year in the 80s. Most are from some of the most important shows in that period. Including tracks from his open act for the Rick James Tour, The 1984 show that made him a superstar, the last show with the Revolution, the Famous small club gig, and the first live perfomance of what would become most of the New Power Geneation band. A good sampler to give someone who needs to be educated about Prince in the glory days. The packaging is better that most Fan releases. It has a less impressive sister release: Live The 90s.
