Deane's Comments (rates this release 4/5.0)
This is an excellent reworking by Sabotage of the release Past, Present & Future 2CD. It has great sound quality overall and is a good document of studio outakes and alternative versions from the 1993 to 1996 projects. This includes Emancipation, Come and The Undertaker. The Undertaker tracks are not the same as those on many other releases like The Undertaker CD, and are much better sounding. They are prefect. Many of the tracks have been circulating, but this is a nice overall collection with no filler or questionable sound like many outake collections. This is also a nice improvement over the early release. This is a release well worth a listen.
Dale's Comments (rates this release 4/5.0)
As with a fair number of outtake sets from the mid 90's, this seems rather dated, tired and redundant now. The majority of the material has since either been officially released, or is available on other releases. That said this is still a decent collection of material. The first disc contains studio material from 1993 - 1996 with consistently excellent sound quality. Disc 2 is far more interesting and all are sourced from circulating video recordings.
The only slight let-down is that the version of VH1's Love4OneAnother broadcast is slightly gritty, and has been censored. There are far better sets circulating, however this was a nice release for it's time. It should be noted this is a completely different and updated release to the previous Sabotage 'Past, Present & Future' release.
