Great rehearsal. Prince is jovial and talks all through the
rehearsal. This is one of the older CD boots, it is actually the first one I
ever bought. The original version of the disc included The Beautiful Ones, even
though it isn't listed on the sleeve. This was one of the first rehearsals I
ever heard and it is stillone of my favs.

This
is a nice little rehearsal. Prince is in teaching mode, which usually translates
into some very good music. My favorite part of this disc has to be the 16+
minute work-through of God

This
most likely dates from September or early October 1984 as the arrangement of
many of the songs played seems to have been finalised. One exception is 'God'
and a lot of work is done on that. Prince becomes unhappy with Lisa's lack of
attention at one point and shouts at her. Some of the songs are cut short (e.g.
'Computer blue') suggesting there is more to this rehearsal than is currently
available. An interesting rehearsal without doubt, but there are others from
1984 which are better.
