An amazing show! Great sound quality and an inspired performance. This is my favorite Parade Tour release. Includes a 12 page booklet with period pix. Head is a 13 minute jam session. City Lights is an amazing set of 11cds (9 shows) and is an important document of early Prince performances.

Soundboard recordings of the Parade tour are pretty scarce, and this is one of the best you will find. The show is full of energy and Prince is having a great time.

An excellent concert and the fact that it was recorded direct from the mixing desk makes it essential. In fact this is the only complete show from 1986 available from the soundboard.

Fink's Comments  (rates this release 5/5.0)
The final part of Superhero's 'City Lights' set, and the only complete soundboard Parade tour show in circulation. The show is as basic a Parade show as you will find with the bare set-list performed, however the quality of the performance really lifts the show from the mundane. The piano segment unfortunately consists of a mere one song (Under The Cherry Moon), however it is proceeded by some lengthy piano improvisation. The 'Electric Man' portion of 'Head' is performed, along with a brief guitar jam and is a lengthy 13 minutes.

The show is circulating on video, which is where the audio for this release was lifted from and that perhaps explains the slight dullness to the recording. It should also be noted that this is a mono recording and not stereo. All that aside, this is a classic bootleg and a fitting closing volume to the stunning City Lights set.
